Rage Against the Machinen paluu-uutiset paljastuivat lopulta uudeksi superkokoonpanoksi, jonka muodostavat edellä mainitun yhtyeen kitaristi Tom Morello, basisti Tim Commerfold ja rumpali Brad Wilk yhdessä Public Enemyn Chuck D:n ja Cypress Hillin B-Realin kanssa.
Public Enemyn Prophets of Rage -kappaleelta nimensä lainannut kokoonpano soitti ensimmäisen keikkansa Hollywoodissa kuun vaihteessa. Bändi esitti suurimmaksi osaksi Rage Against the Machinen kappaleita, mutta poimintoja kuultiin myös molempien suunsoittajien arsenaalista. Lisäksi Prophets of Rage soitti ensimmäisen oman kappaleensa, The Party Is Over.
